Amy graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Law with minors in Portuguese and Family and Human Development. She attended J. Ruben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University where she received her Juris Doctorate in 1997. Amy is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Nevada. Amy is also licensed in California and Arizona.

Amy has extensive experience in criminal law as a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney in both California and Arizona where she conducted numerous jury trials with excellent results. Amy has also practiced in the areas of residential landlord/tenant law, personal injury, automobile accidents, and slip and fall injuries. Amy was appointed as a Judge Pro-Tem in the Maricopa County Justice Courts in Arizona where she presided over criminal and civil cases from early 2009 until she relocated to Nevada with her family in July of 2012.

Ms. Wilson is fluent in Portuguese and enjoys musical theater, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three active sons.
